Tahitian Poisson Cru

An island staple consumed throughout the South Pacific, the simplicity of this this tuna and coconut milk dish belies how rich and delicious it is. Good quality coconut milk and tuna are key; they don’t get any fresher than they eat them on the islands. It takes as little as a few minutes to prep this dish, and its perfect for a hot day.

Ingredients

  • Raw Tuna

  • Coconut Milk

  • Lime Juice

  • Salt

  • Tomatoes

  • Cucumbers

  • Green onions

Directions

  1. Cube tuna.

  2. Pour coconut milk and lime juice over fish; mix.

  3. Cut cucumber and tomatoes; de-seed tomatoes. Add to fish marinade.

  4. Finish with green onions and salt to taste
